Cokingtin Eye Center is a busy ophthalmology practice with a wide range of specialties. We are looking for motivated candidates that desire to learn in a fast-paced setting and have the ability to positively interact and help our patients. Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in ophthalmology preferred, but willing to train for the right candidate
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Strong communication skills

  • Familiar with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ability to assess the complete spectrum of ocular problems from glaucoma, cataract, retina, plastics, trauma and diseases.
  • Measure visual acuity, obtain history (ocular, medical, family), perform manual refractions, motilities, assess pupils, drop administration.
  • Be able to perform OCT testing, Humphrey Visual Filed, Fundus photography, Auto-refraction.

An excellent full-time opportunity exists for a professional, detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills for our patient services representative position. This person will be responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in and out, verifying patient demographics and insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, helping to make sure our patient and clinic needs are met.

Previous experience in customer service or front desk is preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build a rapport with our patients.

Availability Monday-Friday required, some travel may be required to other offices in the area. We offer competitive wages and benefits. No weekends or evening hours.
